clio 182 Electrical warning light (limp mode)

hi, i own a clio 182 (o4) plate and a few months ago when it rained very heavily the electrical warning light on the centre of the dash came on and sent my car into limp mode a day or two after in dry weather it went off and everything was back to normal. however today again after heavy rain it is back on? is this a common problem ? and has anyone got any solutions ?

I was going to say bring it to me and I'd sort it.
Seen this problem enough times, fixed it every single time however each time it has been a different fix.

The likely cause in this case is most likely water ingressing into the engine bay fusebox.

I had same problem on my 172 mate it's a right pain did you get the warning light on dash at all.

yh this poped up on my dash today how did youy guys sort it?

took the connections apart, cleaned them, refitted

sweet what the connections in the fuse box? yh mine was fine today only came on after really heavry rain the night before same as above.

Just had the lights come up on my dash, limp mode wont rev past 3k. It hasnt been driven just sat in the drive but we have had a fair bit of rain. could this be the same problem?

mine have come back on 3 more times this week and the engine light on the right side of the dials poped up to :S so it is going to my local renault dealer tomorrow to get scanned to see whats up with it.
