Clio 182 - gearbox oil change

  Clio 182
Hi guys looking to change my gearbox oil. Bought the oil and sump plug key, I bought a cooper washer set to replace the washer. Was wondering if it's ok to use the existing plug or to buy a new one.

Also is the gearbox sump plug all the same for all clios. Does anyone have a link to the correct part? I hae a Clio 182 2005

many thanks
Terry

The existing plug will be fine. Just fit the new washer when you've finished draining the oil.

Go for a little drive before you drain it so the oil warms up a little. It'll come out a bit quicker then.

Any idea if it needs to be torqued up or just as tight as you can? Hope I got the right oil Nfj75w-80 elf. Thanks for your response
