Clio 182 handling!

Hi, I've been having a few problems with my 182. When going down a bumpy road the steering is terrible it will like jolt to one side or the other, and handles like a pile of sh!t!. Looked at the front end tonight and the drivers side is a lot lower than the other. This is not the springs cause these have recently been replaced. What else could this be? Shocks?

Probably leaking shocks. About £45 - £50 for genuine Renault items.

Is there any simple way to confirm leaky shocks? Fluid leaks?

Yeah fluid leaks or like you've mentioned the ride height is lower.

Double check all the tyre pressures too.

Arg annoys me when people always assume shocks only broke when leaking, i've had 2 go and neither leaked.

Never said they are only broken if they leak it's just one symptom of broken shocks.

I have one rear shock leaking now and its preforming fine! At the moment...

The rear shocks on my Trophy were leaking too and I done a trackday on them and couldn't feel any differrence in performance. Still replaced them though as they were obviously failing slowly.
