Car  Clio sport 182
Hello I have just purchase a clio 182 it has been messed with a bit but not to much just after some advice it has a decat scorpion exhaust to loud for me any ideas where I can get a standard one from is the scorpion worth any thing also it has an big air filter on it again where can I get one from
thanks in advance

i'm sure some body might do a swop with you on the exhaust, but it would have to be local to you, and cash your way also,
just keep asking around, somebody will take it off your hands.

Thanks if any body is interested just let me know I might grow to love it just a bit to loud and worried about future mots

Thanks new to these forums trying to get my head around it

Pics of the exhaust? Scorpion did 2 types on the 182's: Slash cut tailpipes and straight cut tail pipes.

If there in good condition they'll fetch for around £200-£250 2nd hand.

Have you tried looking at putting the cat back in? The reason I say is because this is one of the quietist aftermarket exhausts after standard if its the slash cut design.

Welcome btw :)

Will put some pictures on as soon as I can I would guess there the straight cut tailpipes
Sorry if this is a stupid question but can I just put a cat back in how would this be done could I also get a silencer box or something put on it all sounds a bit complicated maybe a standard exhaust is the way forward

Replacing the cat should be really straight forward as its just a sleeve. If you can get hold of a standard cat it's a 10 minute job providing the exhaust hasn't been modified in any way, should reduce the noise levels too!

Plenty of parts for sale in the classified section. Pay the £12 membership and benefit from all the discounts available to members from the CS traders.

Welcome to the forum!

come mot time you will need the cat back in anyway ;) standard exhaust will on rot away, keep what you have and put the cat back in, then put/buy a standard airbox if you are not a fan of the induction kit.

Thanks I work a lot of weekends but I will drop you a message when I'm not and see if your around thanks again
