Clio 182 Required - Help

Hi All,

I am pretty new to the forum, so Hi!!!; I posted a little while ago that the other half was going to get a Clio 182 but changed her mind and decided to get a Astra Coupe instead; but since I drove the 182 now I want one. Trouble is I could do with finding one for around £13k as this is about as much as I can afford, plus I have a trade in (which is £5k worth of deposit). Can anyone help???? I want a Black Gold one with both cup options, and would much prefer a Uk one..................... The best deal I have had so far from a Dealer was 600 quid of list, which I dont think is very good.

..... pls help ..... i need a 182 ........ i will die from needing one........

Hi mate i got mine non import all cup packs and the cd changer for £13500 but he only snagg is the comp i got mine from gcan get god rates for trade ins so u would be better selling your car privatly. if you want the number pm me

Havent really decided yet tbh - am tempted as I need to free up some wonga for a business venture - only had the car 3 months/3k miles though, and unlike some on here it seems to be a goodun!

Most Renault dealers will do them around the £13k-£13.5k mark fully cupped etc, so it sounds like they are over-allowing on your p/ex

Matt. the £5k in my car is selling it privately, I have had a few offers on it, so the price I got from my local dealer was with £5k cash deposit. I think I am being had............. arggghhhh, I really do want one!

if you go to http://www.saveoncars.co.ukwww.saveoncars.co.uk youll find loads of brokers selling uk spec and supplied clio 182s with aa, 3 yr warranty etc for around 12500 incl metallic, cup and spoiler packs. delivered to your door!!!!

be carerful with cars that are too cheap to be true as there is ALWAYS a catch be it an import or a pre-registered car, you are unlikely to find an official Uk car with Cup packs and not pre-registered for under 13k (excluding F+F)

hi, i was offered a brand new one (unregistered) fron renault dealer for £12.700, with cup wheels, susp.., spoiler, just haggle them down.

ps it was renault nottingham

Help!!! Ok, I just got off the phone to http://www.newregcars.co.ukwww.newregcars.co.uk (thanx phunkey_monkeh) they can do a UK one in black with both cup packs for £12595 delivery 2nd or 3rd week October, will be 54 plate, BUT, I will be second owner so technically it is a pre reg, though they did say it would only be for 1 day???

Do you think this is a good deal? What sort of difference will that one owner make on resale value?

You should be able to walk into a main dealer and get one for £13k. Just beat them down on the price.

I got my 172mk2 from a car supermarket and that was pre registered with them. When i part exd it for my 182 at Renault its value was a fair bit less than an official Renault one would have been. But the way to view it is that you are saving more in the first place. Swings and round-a-bouts and all that.

Kieron, how exactly did you get your car with Competition Stripes? I ordered one with these in mid/late June and they called me a couple of weeks later saying they cant do them. As a result of the delay (I chose met paint instead) I wont get the frickin thing til mid-Sept now at the earliest.

James, every Tom, Dick and Harry on this site claims to be walking into dealers and getting a black with cup packs within a week that was just sitting around spare and only paying £13500 for it. Seems like that is your best option.

Toypop -> from what I am hearing your dead right... think I may try my luck at the dealers again this weekend, probably take print outs of prices from the net for UK Non Pre Reg Cars, such as lloyds, etc....

renault called yesterday and am picking up my car on sat,but the stripes are not done yet, but renault hire a company called line and design who are fitting all their cars with the stripes and said they are excellent so i said thats ok.

Pity Renault didnt provide that level of service to me instead of rejecting my request outright. W**kers. I would be getting my in a few weeks time rather than 8 to 12 weeks....
