Clio 182 shock absorbers, standard or cup?

Does anyone know if the standard oem rear shocks and the cup shocks are interchangeable?

I’m replacing as a pair but it would be good to know if I have a choice on which to buy

Sorry if this has been discussed before I’ve looked around at posts but there doesn’t seem to be a definitive answer anywhere, any help would be great!

Cup and non-cup rear shocks are 100% interchangeable.

Rears are all interchangeable, fronts are not on the 182 due to different bolt spacing

Cup rear shocks from memory are a little bit shorter than normal povo spec rear shocks. They keep lowering springs a bit tigher in place when jacked up.

Okay good to know, it is the rears I’m replacing as it happens so that makes life easier
