clio 182 sport FF - smell

Have a 182 sport FF ('04) and have a strange smell (slight burning?) occuring when I drive around bends (not at any great speed, but worse the faster I drive).
Suspension etc checked of Renault and no problem found.
Any ideas??

(Also get an occasional wining/whistling sound, though not at the same time)

Are you need an AUX belt chnage time ie 36k?

Check you engine for a bit of split oil. Also check the air con system filter see if theres anyhting in there.

Car has now done 27500miles, so I guess it's due at the 36K miles service.

Was suggested that fan was rubbing as the smell comes immediately through air vents..almost too fast to be a smell from road.

Any other suggestions appreciated
