CLIO 182 Stuttering

Guys,

My clio 182 sometimes when the engine is cold and for the first few minutes of driving all the gear changes and accelerating is stuttery?

Any idea why this is? Its not always when the engine is cold though.

I always run it on optimax and good oil is used. The plugs?

Yup. Mine used to do this too. Foot to the floor and nothing but judder. Only for a second or two. They're spot on when warmed up though :)

  Shhh
Caused by exhaust emissions, nothing more.

When the car warms up, the emissions come into line then the car is enabled to full power.

It can be felt to surge when the throttle is held and the car warms. No problem here.

Its an emissions thing IIRC...

I give mine 10-15 in summer before going above 3k...

Winter up to 20 mins before going over 3k..

your not alone on this one , they do splutter from cold and pushing them doesn't make them warm up quicker (does more damage than good) time is your only weapon .
