Clio 182 turns over, won’t start.

At wits end. New starter motor, new injectors, new alternator, new earth strap (gearbox) on the way as the current one is fairly green. Going to buy some relays next week. Battery is good. Is there anyone in the North East that can help if the strap and relay’s don’t fix the solution?

Immobiliser light is solid so its not recognising key. Needs plugging in and diagnostics with clip see whats going on.

Sorted now. Ignition wasn’t recognising key. Did the following and it worked….

Worth changing your key fob battery if you've never changed it.

It could also be a sign that your key is on the way out. For the first 6 months of my ownership, to start the car I had to hold down the lock button when turning the key in the ignition. Eventually it stopped recognising the key, and I had to take the car to Renault for a new key to be coded to the car (cost around £200).

Just worth bearing this in mind of it plays up again.
