Clio 197 Cambelt help needed

  Clio 197
Ok so halfway through Cambelt change on a 197. Got to the point of loosening the cam pulleys, inlet pulley bolt undone no problem. Exhaust pulley nut however is crazy tight, anyone got any tips on undoing it please?

I take it it's a normal thread and not left handed?

Thanks in advance

I wouldn't bother. I assume you've got the cam locking tool in place?
I guess it's to aid keeping the belt tight between the pulleys when you install it. I never bothered doing that when i last did mine.

you need the pulley locking tool to undo them really. Don't rely on the cam locking tool as you'll likely break the cam ends
(not entirely sure your experience or setup, sorry)

I haven't got my procedure to hand, but I've had a quick look online and can't find mention of them being LH.
