Clio 197 key battery?

Mmmm last 2 weeks.... when i put my handle through my door handle and its meant to automatically open its been slowing down, or taking a few attempts to do. Im guessing the battery in the key is dying?

Just a quick question... can I just pull the battery out of the key and replace it and it wont need to be reprogrammed or anything?

Thought id ask before I pull it out

I had this not to long ago, just changed the battery in the key and it's fine at the mo (touches wood!)

Yep.... just changed battery, seens much easier to unlock etc now... just read manual and it said "change key card battery" should appear.... but it didnt.... but changed it and seems fine
