clio 1999 1.6 si alarm

hi just recently my car alarm has decieded to just ramdomly set itself off and getting more and more reqular is their any way of stoping it. once i lock it it bleeps several times then goes off so im having to leave the car unlocked. as the drivers do lock doesnt work ive checked all the catches door and boot and their seem to be working fine i dont really want to diconect the battery all the time either can i just cut the cables to the sensors and siren or will this mean the imoboliser will kick in

Can't be of help with your problem, but I used to have the same car (Si) and the alarm was the same as my ph1 172, so if you search problems with 172 alarms you may find the answer. Would probably get more help if you were a member of the club too...
