Clio 200 @ Castle Combe

[200 Alex]

My first attempt at Castle Combe in my 200. ITG Filter is the only mod, standard cup chassis and suspension.

I could have pushed harder but as you all understand I have only just got the car so I didnt want to stack it! This was the only footage I got from the day and it wasnt my quickest laps.

Can't really tell how fast it is but good driving. Smooth with some under steer on entry, just how I drive mine.

I was using the engine braking on purpose. I could have H&T'd but only corner it's really necessary is the last one and that's being picky.

I was sweating like a cornered nun as it was without all that footwork

Yup. And that other person was my old man in a GT3 on his cooling down lap.

It was for my company and some of the customers were there. The 200 seemed to make minced meat of boxsters and a couple of other 'higher end' cars. All credit to the car, it's just awesome to drive.

Nice vid. Fairly quick track ie. high speed corners. Nudging the limiter in 4th so on the good side of 100mph at least.
