Clio 200 MPG?

I've always been quite surprised when I've seen how bad the mpg was with the 200, my 225 would regularly see late 20s, long drives sitting at 70 would see mid 30s!

at least the 200 is worth the mpg ive managed 29mpg in my A1 :dead:

the worst i got in my gti was 36mpg

IMO there are a fair few 200 owners in this thread taking it all a bit too personally. If you don't care about the fuel economy, then fine, but please don't tell people that they can't discuss it. I mean, we've all read the thread title, right?

It was one thing that made me think twice about an R27 when I looked at them. Turns out I get better Mpg in a 6 Cylinder, 250bhp car that weighs the same as a small planet.

It's a shame because they are bloody good cars.
