has anyone reported problems with the renault standard radio?

Its just i was out earlier and i put a cd in the radio. It took it then said error. I tried to eject the cd but it said that there was no cd inserted.

It sorted itself out after a while, has anyone else had this?

Is it worth upgrading to a non standard radio unit?

My standard HU fcuked up on my 182 and was replaced under warranty. It wouldn't read CDs and kept saying error. The replacement one was fine.

The standard one is OK but if yours is giving you problems I'd upgrade. I had to replace my R26 one simply because the standard ones are dogshit, worst car stereo I've ever had.

Mine used to do that too - just turn it off.

If you get really bored you can always turn it back on .

Replaced the pap with a Sony HU last week.

Upgraded the speakers too - more kak from Renault.

It's a good job the car's a belter or I could get upset
