Clio 3 boot problem.

Last 3 months or so my boot won't open the fob clicks as it's opened it, then you press button on the boot switch and still won't open any ideas I've spoke to Renault said they would look :/ going to be a pricey job? any one know how to fix to save a few £s?

It will be either your boot button that's faulty or the solonoid in the lock. Think the lock is £58.20 and the push button is £31.20 from Adam at renault Wolverhampton. Or if you want to get second hand look at ren parts they are £20 each. Hope this helps.

Do you know what is would cost to fit the solonoid or the lock?

Not a clue mate, I'm not mechanically gifted but I managed to do it myself. Will the boot not open at all? If not you'll need to take the boot card of to pop the boot from the inside.

It use to open then you couldn't close it the Mrs had right game with it started popping open all while now it's staying closed now

Hmm maybe try fitting a new lock then if that doesn't fix it, get renault to have a look or a specialist In your area.
