well you could always just do the ARB's, coilovers and bushes on the Ibiza, and adjust the steering via the diagnostic port.
but anyway, if you want to drive cheap warm hatches all your life be my guest. But when you can pick up a hot hatch with 250+ bhp that gain another 50hp with just a remap, have a decent build quality and interior albeit a year or so old, I don't know why you would want to buy these new generation of small "hot" hatches which have lost the chcharm of predecessors. All they now are is alot slower versions of their bigger brothers in the range.
Maybe some people like having brand new cars? Just a thought.
Ah I see the new vs used retards have arrived.
I expect it won't be long before someone says "Don't buy a new Fiesta ST, buy an old Sierra Cosworth instead".
Ford engines.... Their quoted power especially when modified never meet expectations out on the road.
.
That's definitely wrong.
Have you driven an Eco boost out of curiosity? you sound like a bit of a vag fanboy actually. No suprise considering you drive one. Everyone wants to defend their own cars after all, despite their pitfalls
VAGs could be more driver orientated, but apparently they purposefully design their cars to drive how they want.
What the f**k are you talking about??
Where did i mention anything about racing/outgunning? If a Focus RS has around 300bhp to start with and then it's fettled to 400+ it feels exactly the same as any other car modified to the same degree - you're getting very hostile about Ford.
I don't really know what to do with this information...
Are you saying that other manufacturers have no idea how their cars will drive??
I'm also thinking he hasn't researched Ecoboost engines at all.
Some reading. http://www.evo.co.uk/news/evonews/286480/ford_ecoboost_racer_sets_ring_time.html
Yeah it was a 1.0litre.
Wasnt as fast as a 1.0 Audi engine though... Despite having the same bhp
LOL @ some of the replies in here.
If no one bought new, you wouldn't have your 2nd hand cars to buy lol.
Wasnt as fast as a 1.0 Audi engine though... Despite having the same bhp
I suggest you do some reading up about the ecoboost engine then.
new fiesta happens to have one, just FYI
itl never truly be a good engine though. Not when there are super engines like the pd in German drivers cars
Come again I must have missed that.
My point wasn't about the laptime. It was the fact they extracted power out a 1.0 Ecoboost engine.
The 2.0T in the ST will be just as tuneable. We'll see what/if the RS brings to compete with the big boys.
So they purposefully design their cars with it in mind that s**t falls off at speed lmao. No wonder the jap and French tat need to tape up their bodywork on vmax days.
we can both be stupid
Fools? So what about the 99% of them that are leased/pcp'd and then handed back after a term of months? Are you retarded?
I can only imagine that your TTRS is a complete high miler dog CAT D/C , sounds like you want everything for peanuts.
do you try and mix red diesel in with your fuel for the '172 track car'?
lmao, I've had it for 2.5 years now, 17.5k on the clock
Well that's completely different to actually owning the car at the end of the term. But you are still spending like what, 250-300 a month on a small car? Effectively you are still paying for the depreciation.
Sounds like your too tight to drive it then, it's hardly moved with that mileage. Garage queen is it?
or is it just used for doing hair cut appointments?
