Clio 53 plate starting issue

My friend is having an issue with her clio 1.2 16v. it seems to have an intermitant starting issue. Sometimes the engine just turns over and will not fire?

Other times it fires and drives fine?

Any ideas what it might be? TDC sensor?

got computer diagnostic

Code DF025 Flywheel signal memory sensor circuit, Tooth signal missing.
Code DF135 Brake pedal memory sensor circuit signal incoherence

Any ideas guys?

have a look on the starter motor, to see if the Earth is on ok, this happend to me and a m8t sliped it on properly job done, havent had problems since then **touch wood*

ive had a similar problem and have been advised on this forum that the TDC sensor needs replacing. Sure others will clarify.

annoying thing is that its just totally random. car will start fine most the time and then sometimes it just wont.

How easy is it to change the TDC sensor on this model?

i have had the same problem..had to call the AA out and told me it was something to do with the imobiliser

TDC easy to chnage just unplug it and chnage it only 2 10mm bolts from memory.

Its ontop of the gearbox to engine joint bit. Do a search for a picture.
