Clio Bonnet Help Required Please!!

Hi All

I have a 3dr renault clio dynamique 1.2 54 reg.

I am trying to put on the bonnet but am having trouble. I have managed to put it on but it does not close fully. it locks but does not close down fully. I know it is to do with the aligning of the bonnet, and i have done it as good as i can.

Any ideas what i am doing wrong or any hints/tips on how to make sure it is aligned properly?

Any help would be much appreciated.

is there marks where it was previously aligned? it isnt to hard just drop it down see if its equal if not make a small adjustment

yeah there are marks, i've put it there but no luck, i'v moved it around aswell, and but still cant seem to align it, there is small gap on one side of the bonnet and big gap on the side of the bonnet.

What kind of adjustmentt??

adjust the hinges. The bolts are fixed through ovals iirc allowing movement of a good few mm either way.

give it a squirt of dw40 or take it to renault
