Clio Campus interior light problem

I need some help! Changed the interior light in my car to a brighter one, all working perfectly apart from the fact the interior light doesn't automatically turn on when I open the door. Can't work out why- anyone got any suggestions? Driving me mad!

It's got three positions on the switch on off and door opening is it in the off position?

I have same issue and its on the middle setting but doesnt work on any of them for the door opening and closing but stays on when pressed in towards the back on the car

Put the original bulb back in.
If it has the same problem you've blown something, if it works OK, then the bcm/uch may not like the higher bulb wattage, or if you have swapped to led, they need one suitable for canbus as it is 'sensed'.
