The airbag computer needs to be re-programmed once the bags have been fired. there are a few people out there who can do this.
Regarding the clip system, it can be bought but its around £3k new + vat

with just CLIP software you will not be able to do anything
you also need CLIP box for communication betwen your notebook and your car.

Right this post is very old but I have a question.

I had to buy SH ECU kit. Now I have an airbag fault light. What I think I have to do is to get the ECU to recognise the airbag ECU i.e. VIN of New ECU and the original ECU (airbag) to match.

I see there are two ways to do this:

1. Obtain/Ask someone/go to an auto-spark an clip and get the VINs to match that way (and get my A/C working again).
2. Replace my airbag ECU with that of the new ECU which maches the one I bought.

Is that right?
