clio cup as a driving instructor car in blackburn?!

i've just seen a silver cup outside my house, a driving instructor car with a learner driving, had a driving instructor cone thing on the roof. thought i was seeing things at first and just thought id had been coloured and had the wheels put on, but the back also had a clio sport badge on, wouldn't have thought a cup was a learning car?! lol

If i saw that, i think it would be the "quickest" learner car i've ever seen! Shame that the "learner" wouldn't be able to insure one, when they pass their test. Probably end up in a 1.2 shitter..Lol.

My Mrs had lessons and took her test (tests actually ) in a Mk II Golf GTI from a driving instructor in Cambridge. Not the most friendly car for a girl doing manoeuvers.

One of my mates had lessons froma guy who had a modded up saxo VTS with induction kit and exhaust, the lot, as a learner car, this wos when they first came out.
As you can imagine he got alot of bookings from wannabe boy racers,

I ended up with a diesel corsa!!! pah:dapprove:

hehe, yeah i think it was defo a sport lee. my bf has mentioned seeing it around! seems weird though!
it wasnt an advanced driving thing, it was a standard driving instructors car lol, it had the learner driver sign on the roof with the company name and everything.
i wish id have learnt in it too hehe, i got a diesel fiesta

here's another @ a clio sport meet, good colours i went to durham uni on wed to look round and forgot where id parked the car whilst we were on the tour, anyway..we got showed round a building and it had loads of windows that the tour guide told us to look out of, anyway..first thing that caught my eye in the distance

Dodgy as hell round the farthings ,lol Used to pass the farthings alot on the way to my ex's house .

Its a bit of a don't stop and keep your doors locked kinda place

Seems to be that driving instructors don't always choose the most basic model as a works vehicle... My dad chose a Clio dCi 80 over a 65 for his driving school business, just to have that extra bit of fun!

When I was a student in Stirling there's a bloke running a driving school called Matz (I think) that had a bright yellow Punto with full bodykit and 17s.

There's a MINI Cooper S around Falkirk that someone's using as a driving school car - although I ain't seen it now for a few months.

And last week I was following a BMW 120d on the M8 which was plastered with driving school and pass plus logos.

I learned in a 1.3 16v Micra (M reg) which was actually quite quick off the mark

he had a clio with a bodykit too and an MG ZR. a black civic sport going about falkirk. makes our little blue dynamique driving school car not look so cool outside the test centre!! :dapprove:
