Clio Cup braking problems

Hi

Does anybody know how much braking force the rear brakes on my Clio 172 cup should be giving ?

It just scraped through on its (1st) MOT yesterday. The mechanic was surprised and suggested that a part may be missing form the braking system thats sometimes removed when cars are lowered. Mine is standard so I'm a little confused.

Any help would be appreciated, its going back in for a service next week.

yeah some people have been failed because of that, but its completely standard for a cup mate.

usually if they fail you you can print out what Laingo linked you to and show them.

edit: lol just noticed the cup in that link has a towbar wtf i didnt think cups had a tow rating?
