Clio Cup race @ snetterton at the weekend

I'm thinking about goin to watch the race at snetterton this weekend (http://www.renaultsport.co.uk/championships/cliocup/calendar/)

Looking on the snetterton website it says that there is qualifying and a race on saturday and then a race on sunday too. Anyone know why there's 2 races? I'm planning on goin saturday 'cos the tickets are only £11 instead of £20 but want to make sure I get to see the real thing!

Hi mate

There are always 2 races in a weekend - same way as touring cars have 3 races each weekend. The clio cup and a porsche race just happen to fall on the two different days as they can't fit them all in on sunday. I usually go both days as much quieter on saturday so get to have a good look round the paddocks etc but sunday has the best of the racing. Always worth seeing the clios - very entertaining!

Cheers mate, was thinking about going for both days but decided i'd keep it cheap and just go saturday instead! Looking forward to it though, never seen the clio's in real life yet
