Phase 1 Clio 172s? If so, yes. I have a pic i'm just trying to find now.

All PH2 shape racers with UK homologation started life as PH1's

This one is an exception as it was built by West Surrey Racing and raced in the BTC by Rob Collard.

If this is true, then it sort of answers your question

Yes the Ph1's all had a facelift on the front end, to bring them up to date when they brought out the new car.

Same as the 197's were all changed to the new 200 fronts, to keep them looking like the new road going model.

As Tim says Danny Buxton won the championship and now runs the Scuderia Vittoria race team which run cars in many series such as the clio cup, British GT etc he's a top bloke and a seriously decent driver (and instructor)

i genuinely thought the old ones got sold on. but now that i say it out loud it does sound stupid lol

Used to be 21k+vat, if I remember correctly.

Can anyone post the pic of the 197 thats got both rear wheels a good few foot off the ground under (what I imagine) is incredible breaking... Or someone photoshopped the lamp post out. Can't remember where I found it
