Clio cup racer suspension set-up?

  340i
Right... I know man, who knows a man who is going to be dismantling two Clio cup racers!!

So I have the chance to grab a few parts from the car, mainly the full suspension set-up, would this be suitable to use on the roads and would it fit a PH-1 172?

Does anybody know about the set-up i.e. spring poundage rates (would this depend on the teams own specification), camber, dampening adjust ability?

Any help much appreciated!

Speak to D4ve or LeeP86 on here.

I think it would need modifying to fit a ph1.

Are they 182 cup racers?

bilstein kit, its harder than a p**n star with a months worth of viagra, i drove for 2000miles around europe with cup racer kit on board (yoz's clio) plus a few thousand miles up and down the M6, i've so far spent nigh on £500 on chiropractor sessions (and i'm being 100% serious)

its not designed for a road car, and it does break quite often (rear rose joints snap)

if its dirt cheap then go for it, but if the geezer selling it knows what its worth then it won't be cheap

untouchable on track, and i don't care what AST, H&R, Bilsten, KW, "itsawesomebecausetuningcompanyAbuiltit" suspension you have, you'll get your arse handed too you and also get slapped round the face, aka OWNED

Sounds aweeeeeeeeeeeesome TBH hahaha

I've got PH-1 172, would the suspension kit just "bolt on" without no modification, or would other parts be needed?

If you had the chance to take any parts from the car what set-up would you go for? ;)

its not cheap - heres some for sale - http://www.racecarsdirect.com/viewlisting.php?view=18084

Find out the bolt spacing, and if you get it get the full set up with all the top mounts and the front strut brace etc

Infact if he is breaking the car just get the hubs aswell!

First thing I am going to do when I speak to the lad..

The cars are apparently 100% there i.e. all parts on the cars, they have just all been serviced but the owner hasn't payed the bill IIRC whoops! :nono:
