Do Clio 172 Cups have side airbags?

I think that NCAP will take a particular model and test it, which would then (supposedly) reflect on the rest of the models in the range. most 1.2 Clios dont have Side Airbags, but do have the other safety features that are standard with all of the Clios.

The tested Clios are :-

Renault Clio 1.2 RTE - Model Year 2000

and Renault Clio 1.2 RL - Model Year 1996

So these results would be the same as the cup due to lack of Side Airbags.

The next NCAP test for a Clio will be new model as and when it comes out.

Not in the UK AFAIK, but I got a replacement seat cover under warranty and that had "side airbag" written on the top/outer edge!?

Not really bothered... the original cover was damaged from new, I waited 8 months for a replacement, so was happy to have any cover...
