Clio Cup suspension

Does anybody know what differences there are between the cup suspension and the normal 172 suspension. Would be nice to lower it. Its quite a bit firmer than the normal 172 but have Renault uprated the dampers or just the springs? Would be nice if I can get away with just changing the springs but I know the normal 172 dampers give up pretty quickly with shorter harder springs fitted. And does anyone know how much stiffer the cup springs are % wise? If they are for example 30% stiffer I wouldnt want to put shorter springs on that are only say 20% stiffer.

Every time ive been to parts desk before they have been absolutely useless. Even giving them part numbers...

oh......

well, i work for renault, but were not importing the cup...so i coulnt tell u, other wise i would.

But personally, i think the cup has exactly the same dampers and springs.

Renault state it has upgraded suspension so I know its not all the same. You can feel that it is firmer than normal 172 suspension as well. Trouble is they dont state whats been changed. Think ill have to get an email address for someone at Renault and try emailing them.
