Clio DTi Si??

Ive seen this on autotrader im looking to spend £2000 on a clio, and keep it stock, i wondered what people thought of this diesel as it looks good value. I thought if i came to a clio forum you would be able to help me. Cheers

How does the TDi compare to the 1.4 16v?

IIRC the Mk2 ph1 are all normally aspirated engines (1.9D?)

There is defo a DTI mk2, the D is alot slower i think.

PS. im meant DTI not TDI in the post above.

ah cheers for that site, the 1.4 16v si smashes the dti, and beats alot of the 1.6's too, think ill go for that one. Thanks alot.

The 1.4si is a good spec, the 1.9dtis are very rare but the same spec interior/equipment wise, they have the same van engine as the Renault traffic but are a little slower than the 1.4. They are very tunable though.
