Clio Dynamique 3 door - Electric Window Problem - please help!

Hi, my passenger side window is stuck in the closed position - it appears that the switch is working - changed out the whole mechanism and exactly the same problem! Neither the switch on the drivers side nor passenger side opens the widow. All fuses have been checked - what next? I really dont want to take this to a garage for a huge cost when it may be something really simple and one of you guys out there can help me. Getting really desperate!!!!
