clio gearbox

I am just trying to take a gearbox apart of a williams clio, and i cant get the gerbox to seperate from the clutch basket. i have undone all the 13mm bolts, & the selector underneath, the gearbox has split but only about 8mm and it wont go any further

does anybody now why it wont seperate?

try pressing on the clutch pedal

you have to work the control lever so that it will disengage from the internal hub forks etc
