Hi everyone, This is a wierd problem, i have been looking round google etc. and cant find a solution that dosent involve turning to the renault dealer.
basically my normal car key starts the car just fine, but recently the fob has started playing up, and wont unlock the car door; i have to unlock it manually now.
so i dug out my spare key, which still opens the cars central locking perfectly. however, when i go to start the car, the key dosent work!! even though it was working fine about six months ago.
the ignition will turn, and the car will start up for about two seconds, and then all of a sudden it will just stop!! :S once or twice, i have managed actually start the car properly with this key, and drive it, but then the next time i used the key it wouldnt work again... i cant get my head round it!
i have tried switching the key batteries around, buying new batteris, switching the blades, and no luck
has anybody got any decent advice??
