I'm looking to fit a new cd player in my clio 172 cup. what do i need to buy to fit it and keep steering wheel audio controls working?

what size are rear speakers?

speakers are 5 and 1/4 inches. 5.25 inches.

Get a Head Unit that is compatible with the steering wheel stalk, and buy the adapter for the HU you choose.

Front & rear speakers are 13cm / 5.25"

Should be - check in your manual is it "steering remote ready"

Although a lot of people have some trouble with Sony/Renault issues on here

Yeah it is. I've got the NC9950 and the autoleads one is available from ebay / Halfrauds. There's 2 parts you'll need to buy; one is £29 and one is £3 from Halfrauds iirc. Just try and find a semi competant guy and ask him.

You may struggle to fit the wires behind the head unit as it is pretty long. You can stash them away between the passenger airbag and the clock, there's a little cavity going down to the footwell
