Clio Manifold & Injectors

Ive heard that on MG ZRs you can take the manifold and injectors etc off the 160bhp 1.8, and stick em on the 105bhp 1.4 and itll increase bhp by upto 35bhp. Not bothered about that so much being true but does anybody know if you can do this same thing on the clio 1.2 16v, and use the injectors and manifold etc from the 1.6 16v on it? Would this work and would it increase the bhp? Thanks, dan.

probably works because the 1.4 manifold is designed in a restrictive manner to produce higher torque at lower rpm's for your granny driving it

the 1800 stuff will be designed with a more performance outlook and will flow better etc
