Clio mdf parcel shelf

ive got a mk1 clio 1.4rt, a 15in sub in the boot & front speakers, no speakers at the back, & ive got the standard clio parcel shelf, will there be a difference in the bass if i get a auto acoustics 18mm mdf shelf? will it sound better or worse? thanx

i dont think it will make any odds mate. an acoustic shelf is really only if you putting speakers in it to stop it from resignating.

it will sound good mate, dont bother stickin speakers in your original shelf it will be crap

an alternative for £50 is to get your shelf converted by K&M Acoustics in Wigan, they did mine an they did a good job of it

theres some 6x9s hidin under mine

it will stop the shelf vibrating, making it sound a little better

but DO NOT put a set of 6x9/7x10s in there, they completely destroy the sound stage

na i aint planning 2 put speakers at the back,just want the bass to improve,im thinking of gettin 1 from halfords,i think its 50 pounds.also caraudiodirect.com does it.
