OK im gpoin to be changing the rear drums soon but in the heynes maual it says that u have to replace the nut holding the drums on is this true and why.... also i just put a 16v front bumper on it which has the fog lights on but is it possible to conected them up as the car did not have them on origanaly and if the fog lights dont work is that a mot fail....

Best bet is to wire the fogs up to your main beam.

Front fogs == not checked on MOT.

Behind the drivers side splash guard, youll find the fog light plug - plug a fog light loom into it to a set of standard fogs... then, get the relay, fuse and switch.. put the relay and fuse into the passenger side footwell as per the haynes and then behind one of the blanking switches, youll find the loom plug - plug the switch into that and it should all work.

Im guessing, if yer fogs come on with the main beam - yer looking at an explaination to the MOTer.. as only driving lights should come on, if present, with the beam.
