Clio MK1 Bodywork

I have a 98 PH2 MK1 Clio, R Reg, and I want to buy a bodykit for it, does it matter if the Clio is a Phase 1 or Phase 2, because no where on eBay specifies and I'm a bit reluctant before spending so much, until I definitely know.

It's either this or this one

Because they're awful or because they won't fit? Bare in mind I have limited funds :p Cheers for the quick answers though lads.

Because their awful bud!

Some nice alloys, lowering and a bit of colour coding on a MK1 looks mint.

Yeah but it's the PH2 with dark grey bumpers (front one being smashed) so it just looks like a granny-mobile at the moment!

I need to replace the front bumper anyway so thought I would go for a bodykit, and can't afford £500 or so that Essex Racing etc seems to be charging.

A front bumper can be had from a srappy really cheap, or look on ebay. Your talking well less than a ton for one. Or other than that put an ad in the wnated section on here dude :)

agreed dnt bother wit the bodykit mate, instead ur gona spend thousands gettin a mk1 to show standard i wouldnt bother. just colour code an lower mate wit some decent wheels, will look quality

Where's the best place to get alloys and tyre packages for it? I've been told I can only have 205s which sounds a bit off, I was thinking more 195/45/16 myself, I don't have a huge budget to be honest either.

Course you can have 195's on 16" wheels.
Where are you in the uk ?? Tbh though you don't even need to pay a load for alloys, even renalut ones still look ok.

Hmm, I don't know of any alloy wheel places round there. Like I said though, a set of renault ones on it will improve the look & won't cost the earth at all :)
