Clio MK1 interior conversion

Hello,

I am a new owner of a 96 clio, first renault I have and I must say it's an odd car.

I'm not in love with it yet. So I must make it into something mine.

Engine wise, in my country I can't do anything..

But, I'd love to install a Clio 2 interior on my Clio 1. Is their floorpan similar? Are the mountings similar? Strangely I don't find info online as easily as other cars like fords and gms

Has this been done?
