Clio MK3 1.4 Dash/Info Display

Hi,

I have just bought a 1.4 16v Clio and the middle dash that has the time and radio display does not light up, is it just a case of taking the dash off and changing a bulb? Or does the whole bit need replacing?

If its only a bulb change how is it done?

Think the unit can just be unclipped from the back. Don't quote me on that though.

Ok can the bulb/s be changed in it or do you need to replace the whole thing?

they just pull off mate, ive replaced loads of these under warranty, they r all messin up lol, i dont fink they have bulbs, i fink they r led strips, so i new unit under warranty is the solution

Its second hand on an x reg so no warranty unfortuantly, are they expensive?

r rite, u said a mk3 which is the new shape clio, an x reg would be a mk2 phase 1, so yes they have changeable bulbs for the radio dispaly, top half of ya dash will have to come off though.

Sorry my fault should have made it clearer.

Had top of the dash off and changed the bulbs only took bout half hour so not bad, gald its not cold and dark outside anymore, would have made it more interesting!
