Clio mk3 wiper stalk replacement

My wiper stalk has some things not working anymore therefore I'm replacing it. I have removed the cover and got into the stalk but there is some wiring attached to it which look fragile I was wondering if there is a special way of removing these and so what tools would I require.

It's fragile and is fed round to the indicator stalk. I use a fine steel pick to pry it out but anything pointy will do the job.

Well the things I have available are nose pliers and a needle.
