Clio MKII + ND0 doubt

  Clio 2.0 16v
Hey there, how are you doing? Greetings from Brazil and Happy New year for all..

Probably some of you know (or not) here in Brazil we doesn't have nothing about real powerful Clios like RS, 172, Cup etc..The Big one for us is with K4M.

So I got my Clio (I posted in the past a thread but probably is not so good as you have in europe something better and original Renaults) and swap the engine from K4M to F4R. My focus in this swap was to run some Track Days/Time Attacks. It was a nice swap and the car it's respond nicely but I'm having a trouble with the gearbox. For now I'm using the JB3 used normally with K4M engines over here in Brazil and would like to make a better upgrade. I always planned to use the ND0 gearbox. I realized this last couple os weeks some of you tried to make it happen in the past (Looks like 2008) but could not find any results about this upgrade. Looks like know you guys are using the gearbox from clio 200 (TL1??) and it's better than the originals but unfortunately for me here I just have the option to fix it with ND0. I know as I could see in some pics it was not nice because the box is too big to fit but I'm trying to see what kind of problem I'll have if I continue with this gearbox upgrade.

Does anyone of you have some information? Any information will be very welcome.

Thanks...

The ND0 box is cable shifted and has a hydraulic clutch actuator. Same as the TL1. You would need to adapt that to your car. The bolt pattern on the gearbox housing/flange is different aswell so you'd need an adaptor plate. Would be easier/cheaper to buy a reconditioned JC5 in Europe and get that shipped over to Brazil.

Thanks for the reply on this...

I realize that and got from a megane cc here in Brazil all stuff needed to swap everything I needed (This include as well the engine and all hydraulic stuff). I could get the JC5 from the Clio Cups over here, but in fact, I would like a better bearbox as ND0. The TL1 difference of ND0 is just the gearbox size?
