clio not pickingup

About 3 days ago driving home going down the hill then got to bottom went to accelerate and oh, wouldnt pick up and check engine light is flashing at me so i managed to drag it home and had a listen and thought sparks or HT leads so i got a few spairs and managed to do it today, changed sparks and then changed the leads, (the old lead had a huge gouge out of it) anyway, apon changing the leads and all that good stuff, started car up and nope, no change, any suggestions?
I no plug it in to a tester but i dont have one, and was kinda hopeing this would fix it! lol.
Any suggestions or is it new car time lol.
Have owned her for 3 years now shes been good to me lol.

makes a "put put put put" noise? melted cat?
wierd noise from engine, sound like air? maybe cylinders?

"put put" being misfiring cylinder? coil pack perhaps?

Coil pack is new has been changed

idk, it looks like cylinder or cat tbh which im worried about but i mean is it worth changing it all? :/ after all she has done 97k is this start of a slipery sloap?
