Hi,

Just need everyones opinion.Ive got a 1.2 Clio and was going to buy this chip to add 20 HP to my car.

Think I should buy it?

they usually underestimate the power they give, more likely be 50hp extra on that engine so id say go for it...

With these eBay "superchips" who knows what brake you'll have, i can guarantee that the quality will be comparable to a toy from a Christmas Cracker and your engine will more than likely leave in parts thro the exhaust.

Forget "performance" chips lol. Get a real remap done if the engines been further
modded.

Basic breathing mods (filter + exhaust) dont really need a new map as they
dont change a fat lot!

They bypass certain sensors and make your engine run rich as hell. DONT BUY ONE, THEY DO NOTHING.

the ad says not working with diesel cars well this mod is especially for turbo Diesel cars....save the 3,50 and buy some fish&chips for it you will have more satifaction

I agree, they don`t do sh**. They give a lot of bhp to diesel engines but nothing on petrol.

hehe at some of the replies.

To be honest, its pretty obvious that they are a con. Funny how most of us spend nearly £300 for a good 10bhp map when all we could have done is spend £3 on ebay for 20 bhp. Common sense really !

They are a waste of £3, give you f-all performance and will slowly ruin your engine.
