clio ph1 172 gear linkage problem

i recently purchased a ph1 172 in need of some tlc one of the problems was that it wouldn't engage reverse so i got the car up on the ramp to fiddle about with it and it turns out that when i try to get reverse its about an inch too short is there a gear lever and linkage that i can get from another car i.e. a megane or something along these lines?

the gearbox has been changed and i dont know what box has been fitted many thanks Alan

Sounds like you've got some megane mk1 bits on there (From memory the part of the linkage attached to the box on those is shorter)
