This is my awesome! ph1 I love it, such an underrated car.
Bought it cheap of a friend as I was just going to use it for track but after driving it I want to use it everyday, how much would it rough cost me to turbo it myself and what parts do I need?

It's currently my second car so I'd collect the parts first then do it in one I'm guessing 225 manifold with turbo, custom intercooler pipes, oil feeds, standalone ecu, with the I need to change the compression if I run low boost?

I agree , turbo comes with its own set of issues . If your not a mechanic , it can get costly keeping it tip top.
Low boost kits are available from engine dynamics .

Dependings what sort of power you want from it, you can get around 230bhp on standard compression and an efi module so a standalone ecu isn't required. Better off with an off the shelf log manifold and downpipe imo as the 225 manifold puts the turbo and downpipe very close to the master cylinder.
