Yeah, she's wrong about the Clio 182s being labelled as Phase 3, and getting confused with the global production timeline of all Clio models (different countries). The OP was clearly asking about UK Sports production models. My understanding of the Clio production by MY.

1. First Generation (Clio I):
   • Phase 1 (1990-1994): Introduced as a replacement for the Renault 5, this initial phase included models like the Clio Williams, noted for its performance.
   • Phase 2 (1994-1996): Minor updates including styling changes and new engines.

I think this is a Phase 3 (note the fog surrounds)

And this is a phase 2 (fog surrounds again)

There were then multiple irritations of the Campus. The first just looked like a phase 2 (I had one). Then next was the Ph4 with the number plate in the rear bumper.

That’s my understanding of the UK market anyway. Looking farther afield, it went through a few more irritations. So God knows.

I may be wrong, but isn't the 1st pic a Dynamique and Second pic the lower spec model? I had an 04 Expression which had bumper off the second pic and my mate had an 04 Dynamique with bumper off the 1st pic.

I may be way off though

They just hodge podged them together on the transition between the two phases. I’d call the top pic a phase 2.5 and the bottom a phase 2.

Yeah to further complicate you could order an expression with fog lights, think it was £100 option lol
