Right I have a 02 clio 1.2 16v comin up on 70k. The car is regularly serviced and is generally kept in great condition.
The problem. I was comin home last night on a 120 mile round trip and as it was 1 oclock in the mornin I was tramping on a bit. I was slowing down to a roundabout and the engine management light came on and the car wouldn't accelerate. I simply turned the car off and back on again and the light went out and I was able to accelerate fine. This happened about another four or five times on my way home last night.
Then today on my 80 mile home trip the car was fine the whole way with no poblems.
Can anyone help me out with this. Is there some kind of problem with the ECU or is there a fuelling problem?
