clio remote display

just wondering what this is... is it the screen which tells the time that sits on the middle of the dash? and the radio information(asuming i still had the factory renault stereo) as the dvd headunit i want to get has a choice of 2 smart adaptors that says either with/without remote display so im unsure which to get, if any

the website says "with remote display 4/1998 to 6/2001"

or "without remote display 2/2000 onwards"

i have a mk2 ph1 if its any help, 2001 is the year also...

If you've got that clock thing on the top of the dash above the headunit then you need the one that says 'with remote display'.

It'll display like Alpine or Pioneer or whatever on there when it's turned on probably.

just selected the option that says 'with remote display' and it looks like they want to charge me £32 extra... i'll pass but thanks for the help rob
