My 1.6 SI Clio started off as pretty standard as seen from the showroom photo:

For it's age it was in pretty good condition. Alloy wheels came as standard. Interior not the most stylish but still practical Looking to change some of the elements though..So any ideas......
I then unfortunatelly I was involved in a ice incident which smashed up my front of the car

Was'nt all bad. I mean at the end of the day it made me actually kickstart into starting to make some changes to the car . Something I've been wanting to do for a long time .
Once home I ripped out what was left of the light and attempted to straighten out the T-bar.

In the end it became apparent that the onlt way i was going to get JEV (Car's name) back onto the road would be to get a new bonnet as too much damage was made to the existing one.
Due to timing and weather, (it was when the Novemeber snow hit hertfordshire) the only scrapyard close enough to my location and open on that day only had red or gold bonnet that would fit my car (Mk2).
As i felt that red and black would look crappy i decided on black and gold . Unfortunatelly as my lights were SI lights there was none avail;able at the scrapyard, therefore resulting in a strandard light to be temporarily fitted.

Wasn't all bad. Instead it encouraged me to purchase the lights i've been wanting for a long time :approve:.

Once fitted the next thing to do was to temporarily make the gold bonnet look lioke it was ment to be on the car. What better to do that than to add a couple of black stripes along it .

Next thing was to spray the wheels. Matt black was the option. As much as i love the alloys they wern't 'sporty' enough for me, and due to finances I couldn't afford the rims i wanted so it seemed like a good solution.

Next. How to make the black and gold colour scheme 'flow' with the rest of the car. I know:
http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.ph...66759199640.2089949.1557112189&type=1&theater
Then to spray the front pannel:
http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.ph...66759199640.2089949.1557112189&type=1&theater
http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.ph...66759199640.2089949.1557112189&type=1&theater
Makes it look more in tune with the rest of the car .
Also sprayed the badge to 'fit in':

On visiting Modified Nationals I felt that a gold splat would assist with creating a good black and gold theme.
http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.ph...66759199640.2089949.1557112189&type=1&theater
This started my obsession with the stickers . Therefore decided that i wanted to cover my back window in these:
http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.ph...66759199640.2089949.1557112189&type=1&theater
Now my car looks like this:
http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.ph...66759199640.2089949.1557112189&type=1&theater
Although I am always looking for ways to improve it . So suggestions please.
Oh and P.S I know i need a new number plate. This is something I have ordered and is now awaiting it's delivery.
