Clio sport 172 Help !

please help!

i'm looking at buying a 172 and i have got a viewing on sunday. But the car doesn't have an ESP button on the dash/control panel to the right of the steering wheel! what does this mean? Does it need an ESP button to have traction control?

I have had superfastdan check the car out for me on the Renault computer system and he has said that it is a uk car so surely it should have this button?

The car is an 2002 02 plate 172.

only 52 plate onwards have this button and yes you have got tc button you dont have the option of turning it off

It depends some cars which were built then not registered can be earlier spec but on later plates its why you can have 05 reg 172's.
